Dr Benadé, owner of GR Diabetes & Metabolic Centre, is an experienced general practitioner with special interest in diabetes. She is known for her thoroughness and patience with her patients. She is dedicated to deliver high-quality care and staying at the forefront of advancements in diabetes treatment. Dr Elschke completed her undergraduate studies from the University of the Free State in 2016, obtaining her MBChB degree. Since completing her community service years she has been working in the diabetes, metabolic and weight loss environment whilst still being involved in general practice as well. "I know this has given me the tools to be able to still provide patients with holistic care even though in a focused field". She worked at a spesialised diabetes centre in Pretoria for three years before relocating to George with her family. She holds a postgraduate certificate in diabetes care from the CDE and underwent insulin pump therapy training in Tolochenaz, Switzerland. "I believe a patient should get proper education and information about their health to provide them with the knowledge and tools to manage their condition effectively, ultimately to prevent complications".
